More than half a million people head downtown during this 17-day June festival that includes art in its many forms, from theater, music, and dance to public art happenings and galleries packed with visual art. The festival’s many family-focused programs ensures there’s something for everyone.

The 2006 invitation concept was inspired by Pittsburgh’s urban architecture, which peers down on all the events of this inner-city festival.
