More than half a million people head downtown during this 17-day June festival that includes art in its many forms, from theater, music, and dance to public art happenings and galleries packed with visual art. The festival’s many family-focused programs ensures there’s something for everyone.

Little Kelpie was fortunate enough to develop the festival’s 2006 invitation. So when we heard they wanted to use the concept again in 2007, we thought that was pretty cool.

The 2006 invitation concept was inspired by Pittsburgh’s urban architecture, which peers down on all the events of this inner-city festival.
