Chatham Baroque

Art direction, editorial design, packaging

Removing much of the expected seventeenth- and eighteenth-century imagery from their visual identity in our first season together, we embarked on a journey to introduce timeless music to a contemporary audience.

Three musicians playing string instruments in a bright studio with large windows. The person on the left is playing a violin, the middle person is playing a long-necked lute, and the person on the right is playing a cello.

We worked with this trio to devise their performance campaign collateral for nine consecutive seasons.

Three event posters featuring musical performances, with the first showing classical music instruments and concert details, the second showcasing pipes and a bird, and the third depicting a person in a barn-like space with people in the background.

We collaborated with Chatham Baroque to promote their performance seasons as well as design the packaging for their recordings published under their own label. And we’ll never forget art directing a shoot where we asked Andrew, Patty, and Scott to leap into a swimming pool in black-tie.

For more than a decade we worked with the Warhol’s curators and communications team to craft a visual identity for their film, music, and performance series.
